Why do you not self fund TPN?
While technically possible, launching prematurely would signal we're production-ready before we actually are. Without adequate support staff and a critical mass of crew, we risk failing at first impression. Potentially damaging relationships with major studios before we've proven the platform's value.
Why does this not exist?
Whilst there are some apps made for our industry, for the most part it is a closed door industry, nobody in, nobody out, this means the tech that is developed is created by somebody who does not understand the industries nuances, or have failed to make their career in the industry successful.
Why don't you raise more money now?
While possible, securing TPN accreditation before institutional investment significantly de-risks the opportunity and justifies a higher valuation. TPN certification transforms us from a promising platform into a studio-approved solution with clear path to major productions.
When do you expect your first production?
Once we secure TPN certification, we can immediately activate studio partnerships. Given existing relationships and strong interest, we expect to be deployed on the next major production to start, potentially within days of accreditation.
How often do you update the app?
We work in 2.5-month development sprints with our team, allowing two weeks of testing before rolling out new features quarterly. We survey existing crew, gather feedback on set, and prioritize features based on engagement and retention, building what keeps crew returning to Sixth Degree.
