We just dropped our biggest update ever, adding features that have been requested, making Sixth Degree even better. From public job boards to availability badges, portfolios, previous roles and sharable links. This is the first in a long sprint of new features coming, so keep your eyes peeled for more, and tell your colleagues to download the app today.

Job Board

Post jobs, apply for jobs, share opportunities, and review candidates, all in the crew app. No need to be tied to a production. Crew can connect directly, move quickly, and get hired in real time. It is simple, flexible, and built for how the industry actually works today.

Portfolios

You can now add photos of your work directly to your profile, building a portfolio that reflects what you actually do on set. Show real experience, not just credits. From locations and builds to dressing and technical work, your profile becomes visual proof of your skill. Help productions make faster decisions and stand out when applying for jobs. Simple to upload, easy to share, and built for how crew are hired.

Availability Badges

Availability badges show your status at a glance. Whether you’re available now, unavailable, or free soon, anyone can instantly see who’s ready to work. No chasing or guesswork. Keep your status updated to stay visible for the right opportunities, or find the right crew in seconds.

Shareable Links

All profiles now have a unique, shareable link. Share your own profile and put your work directly in front of the right people. You can also send crew, supplier, or location profiles to colleagues just as easily. Simple, direct, and easy to pass on.

You can now add your previous roles to your profile, making it a clearer picture of what you’re capable of. It helps others quickly understand your experience, and makes crewing up or reviewing applicants far more efficient.

Our new location section is live, with the first locations now available to explore. Our scout team is already building this into a growing library. The section is built on two core principles: high quality, unwatermarked imagery ready to download, and direct access to owners or representatives without agents or delays.

We’re often asked what AI we plan to add to the platform. The answer is simple, none. We are focused on building secure, reliable tools that protect your data. We do not use your data or your production’s IP to train external models. Sixth Degree is an AI free space, designed to give you control, confidence, and complete ownership of your information.

Our location marketplace is now live, with the first set of professionally scouted locations available to explore. Built on high quality, unwatermarked imagery and direct access to owners, it is already changing how locations are found and shared. And while others rush toward AI, we are focused on security, control, and protecting your data and your production’s IP.
